Date: Sunday 30 September 2012

The Moon festival (also called the Mooncake or Mid-Autumn festival) falls on September 30th in the year 2012. The Moon festival is celebrated every year on eighth month of the lunar calendar when the moon is at its brightness. It is a day of family reunions much like the Western Thanksgiving. Chinese people believe that on that day, the moon is the roundest and brightest signaling a time of completeness and abundance.

Celebrate the Mooncake Festival here at Shangri-La Finest Chinese Cusine. Updates on promos and events will be announced soon.
